Health & Human Services
The primary aim of the Health and Human Services (HHS) facet is to address the issue of health disparities. This initiatives that are implemented through this facet promote and facilitate programs that support the maintenance of good health and the elimination of chronic health disparities in communities of color through Education, Health Advocacy and Optimal Utilization of Health Resources. We educate members about health promotion and disease prevention to ensure that we become models of health behavior we hope to promote within our communities.
We are significantly committed to this facet because a number of our Chapter members are in the medical profession.
